A Private Affaire began operations in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1994, prior to the opening of the artisan cafe. Only the Freshest Ingredients

If experienced and creative catering isn't enough, Ingham's chefs work to incorporate the latest trends in local cuisine using only the finest and freshest ingredients. We pick herbs and produce from the local farmer's markets and use locally grown meats and dairy products wherever possible.

We produce the finest and most creative cuisine for each event. For each event, we incorporate the wide variety of ethnic ingredients that are available to use in the Bay Area. We also specialize in preparing only the freshest menu items, including Asian cuisine, vegetarian, pan-Asian, and Southern American comfort foods. Each and every event menu is a reflection of what you—the client—crave!


48 hours' notice is needed for most box lunches. Due to market availability, some substitutions may be necessary. You may place an order by visiting or contacting our location. To secure your order, prepayment in the form of cash or a credit card number is required. All orders must be submitted to the cafe via fax or email by 11 a.m. the previous day. To avoid a cancellation fee, the order must be cancelled by 3 p.m. the previous day. Same-day cancellation will be charged 50% of your total order. The minimum order for delivery is $50.00, and the delivery charge is $20.00.
